This proposal comes from the Abya Yala (Latin American) diaspora in Berlin, mediated and accompanied by corn and the interdisciplinary Quechua artist Daniela Zambrano Almidón. From a decolonial and sensitive point of view and language, 4 sessions are proposed.

The concept of "Yachaywasi", the space or house of knowledge in the Quechua language. the space or house of knowledge in Quechua, was in ancient Peru, a university governed by wise men and women of a non-Western tradition. This proposal intends to retake those voices silenced by colonization and academia, to vindicate and assimilate them in our present time.

This Second Yachaywasi seeks to create a space for encounter, weaving of knowledge and reflections on the challenges of the decolonization of thought in contexts of migration and geopolitical crisis. Film and culinary resources will be used to address the issue of the defense of land and indigenous ancestral territory. This Yachaywasi session is in solidarity with the indigenous and peasant struggles of our brothers in Peru and throughout Latin America.
