Migrants empower migrants!
migraUp! 2015–2025 – Closing a Shared Journey

After ten years of dedicated work, we say farewell to migraUp!. Since 2015, together with migrant organizations in Pankow, local administration partners, and numerous community actors, we have created spaces for empowerment, networking, and intercultural opening. With a decolonial and intersectional approach, we have encouraged new perspectives, strengthened multilingualism and diversity, and fostered meaningful dialogue across different sectors of the district. We look back with gratitude at the shared experiences, the alliances built, and the collective steps taken toward more justice and inclusion. Although migraUp! comes to an end in this form, its impulses and learnings will continue to grow. Thank you for ten years of trust, collaboration, and shared learning.

Migra Up! -2025
Professional networking for the migration society
A project of Sources d'Espoir e.V.

MAIN GOAL
The main goal of the project is to strengthen the MSOs and the migration society from a decolonial and intersectional perspective - making them visible as equal interlocutors for the public institutions in Pankow.

Objectives in 2025:

-
Stakeholder Analysis (January - April):
Our goal is to comprehensively identify and analyze all organizations in the Pankow district that work in the fields of migration, refuge, and mobility. This also includes the systematic documentation of their services and areas of activity. -
Connection and Network Strengthening:
We actively promote collaboration among key stakeholders and institutions in the district to create synergies. By participating in relevant local networks, we deepen our analysis and evaluate potential improvements in existing services. -
Coordination of the AK Lingua Pankow Through the coordination of the Working-group Lingua Pankow, we promote social cohesion in the district, make multilingual perspectives visible, and connect local stakeholders. The focus is on building sustainable collaborations between migrant organizations, schools, and daycare centers. The goal is to strengthen intercultural exchange and reduce barriers in education and administration.
